My love of storytelling began at a very young age. I learned to read at the age of four, and started writing stories soon after, winning many Young Authors' Conventions at my elementary school.
My focus then shifted to performing the written words onstage, but I never lost my fondness for storytelling.
In recent years, I have rediscovered by love of writing, and I have had wonderful opportunities to take the page to the screen.

Junie drops everything to visit her cancer-stricken grandfather, Frank, but is everything what it seems to be? And why does he want to go to the beach? I wrote and produced this comedic short film in order to act with my real-life grandfather, who inspired me to be an actor. In all our years, we had never performed together -- and I had to change that. |

FOR A BETTER LIFE (FOSTER CARE FILM) - Short Animated Documentary, 2018
Sold for $100 at the age of 5, Fekri suffers through years of abuse before his plight is discovered. After almost a year of hospitalization and therapy Fekri moves into a group home where he finds support, mentorship, and eventual forgiveness towards the family which sold him.
I was the story editor for this documentary, molding hours of interview narration into an emotional whirlwind of a ten-minute film. Winner of two dozen awards at U.S. and International film festivals.
